Johnny Football Mania invaded Detroit as the Cleveland Browns fall 13-12 to the Lions.
Brian Hoyer started for the Browns and went 6-14 for 92 yards. When Hoyer left the game so did the starting offensive line.
Johnny Manziel threw seven completions on 11 attempts for 63 yards and got more comfortable as the night wore on.
Manziel was also the leading rusher for Cleveland picking up 27 yards on the ground.
That's troublesome for the Browns' rushing attack especially when it came to Terrance West. The rookie did have a long of 10, but averaged just 2.2 yards per carry. Starter Ben Tate saw limited action on six carries and looked good averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
A slew of penalties and sloppy tackling on defense was both surprising and concerning for the orange helmets since the 'D' has looked superior throughout training camp to the club's offense.
