If the first drive in the first preseason game is any indicator of how the Browns offense will look in the 2010 season, then Browns fans have something to believe in for a change.
Let's get the caveat of "first preseason game" out there right now and acknowledge the realities that come with it.
Are we finished? Good, now let's focus on the positive.
In the first drive, which was a battle of first team players, Jake Delhomme engineered an 11-play, 80-yard touchdown drive and did it with an ease it seems hasn't been seen in Cleveland in a generation.
The Browns' offenses have been so bad in recent years, it felt like watching Bernie Kosar out there Saturday night on that first drive, and that's a good feeling to have.
Seneca Wallace also looked good behind center, which also made the evening sweet because injuries happen, and it's comforting to know you don't have to hit the panic button should the injury bug bite Delhomme.
