Kaepernick Reportedly Will Opt Out of Current Deal with Niners Sunday, Dec. 4 Kaepernick will reportedly void his contract after the season and become a free agent, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Rapoport added that Kaepernick's return to San Francisco shouldn't be ruled out:
