Colin Kaepernick Trade Rumors: Broncos, 49ers Reportedly Progressing on Deal

The Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers have reportedly agreed on a deal that would send quarterback Colin Kaepernick to the defending Super Bowl champions, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
However, before the embattled signal-caller can head to the Broncos, the two sides must agree on a restructured contract, and Schefter said talks "have not been close."
The 28-year-old quarterback fell out of favor with the 49ers after struggling in 2015. They benched him for backup Blaine Gabbert in the second half of the season, and the marriage between San Francisco and Kaepernick was all but over.
At one point, the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reported that he would like to play for the New York Jets, but now he may have his chance with the Broncos.
Denver is searching for a quarterback after losing Peyton Manning to retirement and Brock Osweiler to free agency. The team traded for Mark Sanchez after the season, but it appears Denver is not set on naming...
