Colt McCoy Continues Development at Cleveland Browns OTAs

Colt McCoy got a little more face time in with the media this week after throwing well during the Cleveland Browns OTAs.
 
McCoy did have one pass batted down by DB Ramzee Robinson, but that was the only reported negative out of McCoy’s sessions.
 
There still is some debate around the blogosphere about what role McCoy actually will end up playing in the 2010 edition of the Browns, but there is no doubt about who will be starting for the team in Week One.
 
Team President Mike Holmgren said his first week on the job that you pick one quarterback to be your starter, and then you throw all your resources behind “that guy.”
 
This is Jake Delhomme’s team, and all McCoy can do is go out during the preseason and prove to everyone that he’s a good investment. By doing that, it’s possible he could end up earning the backup spot, but realistically, even that’s a longshot.
