Colts vs. Panthers: Full Indianapolis Game Preview

This wasn’t how things were supposed to go for the Indianapolis Colts. Since drafting Andrew Luck with the top overall pick in 2012, the Colts haven’t missed the playoffs and have been progressing closer and closer to the ultimate prize each season.
Even with the seemingly unbeatable New England Patriots in the way, the next step was logically the Super Bowl for Indianapolis, and many people had the Colts tagged as dark-horse contenders for the Vince Lombardi Trophy this season, especially after a number of big offseason acquisitions.
But after a 3-4 start, during which the Colts are winless against teams not in the hapless AFC South, things aren’t looking quite as rosy for Indy. Chuck Pagano is on the hottest of hot seats, Luck is struggling to recapture the form that made him a superstar, and the veteran additions of Frank Gore and Andre Johnson have not done enough to change the team’s fortunes this season.
