Could Karlos Dansby Be a New York Giant?

February 15, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

Ever since the New York Giants released defensive captain and middle linebacker Antonio Pierce, they have been looking for a replacement, whether it be through free agency or the draft.
The Giants could find the solution to their problem in former Arizona Cardinals inside linebacker Karlos Dansby, who is a free agent this off-season.
Dansby has expressed interest in playing for the Giants as well as San Diego, Washington and Miami.
Since he was drafted by the Cardinals in 2004, Dansby has recorded 444 tackles, 24.5 sacks, and nine interceptions.
Dansby would be a great fit and could come in and be the defensive captain that they will be lacking with the loss of Pierce.
The cost could be a lot for the Giants in this uncapped off-season, but the price will be worth it for them.
