In about a month and a half, life will seem right again for NFL fans around the world. When it's all said and done, not every fan is fortunate enough to have their favorite team hoist the Lombardi trophy. However, year in and year out, we are all fortunate to watch some of the world's greatest athletes shine in their prime. It's nothing but a sheer privilege to watch some of the brilliant talent this league brings in every season. For the past 23 years, MVP honors have gone to either a quarterback or running back, and in some cases, both. If your name isn't Peyton Manning or Brett Favre, winning MVP is typically something you'll only get to cherish once in a lifetime, which is why it's so special.
