Cullen Jenkins Re-Signs with Redskins: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

After he was released by the Washington Redskins prior to the start of the regular season, veteran defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins re-signed with the team Tuesday. 
Ben Standig of Scout.com was the first to report Jenkins' return, and it was later confirmed by Mike Jones of the Washington Post. Jones later reported backup center Austin Reiter was released to make room for Jenkins. 
The 35-year-old Jenkins will begin his 13th NFL campaign when he takes the field for Washington after previously enjoying stints with the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants.
Jenkins spent the past three seasons with the G-Men, registering nine of his 47.5 career sacks as a member of Big Blue.
The decision to bring back the former Central Michigan standout comes on the heels of Washington's 38-16 loss the the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.
