Brandon Jackson and Michael Vick emerged as the top waiver wire additions in week one. Both got into the end-zone after getting the opportunity to start in week two.
Which week two waiver wire addition will come through large for fantasy owners next weekend?
Quarterbacks
Josh Freeman, Buccaneers (178 – 2; 43 rushing yards)
Owners looking at bye weeks on the horizon should keep an eye on Freeman’s performances in the coming weeks. Looks like the Tampa offense is gaining a little steam.
Kyle Orton, Broncos (307 – 2)
Orton and the Broncos fired on all cylinders against the Seahawks. His is another name fantasy owners should know when bye weeks start to roll around.
Running Backs
Peyton Hillis, Browns (35 – 1; 3 – 26)
Hillis, not Jerome Harrison, seems to be getting the important touches in Cleveland. Those are rare.
