Daily Haze: Fantasy Playoff Prep, Championship Weekend

January 21, 2011   ·     ·   Jump to comments

Last weekend’s games were full of intrigue and storylines. We kept our eye on four players from all the games, and here is how we think they fared.
Mike Wallace, WR, Steelers: A virtual non-factor. He will need to have a better game this weekend against a better secondary to steady his stock.
James Starks, RB, Packers: Hit some bumps in the road against the Falcons. Got a lot of work but not much in the yardage department to show for it. This was Aaron Rodgers' night, anyway.
Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seahawks: Hard to have as much of an impact when your team gets behind the eight ball very, very quickly. Still nothing more than a mid-to-low end RB3 heading into next year.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB, Patriots: It is a little disturbing to see how many touches Danny Woodhead gets over the Law Firm. Not a good game for his stock heading into 2011.
Time to turn the attention to championship weekend.
