Daily Haze: JaMarcus Russell Hits Rock Bottom?

As if JaMarcus Russell's career could not have gotten any worse, it just did.
Russell was busted by police for possession of a controlled substance over the course of the holiday weekend. His chances of landing on a NFL roster by the start of 2010 training camp are quickly approaching zero.
But have NFL fans seen the last of Russell?
Maybe not. Some team may get desperate enough to pick him up and make a project out of him. Or Russell himself will become desperate enough, as he burns through all the money the Raiders gave him, to sign with a team for just about anything.
As for the Raiders this year, there could be improvement.
Jason Campbell, though not an elite quarterback by any means, will provide more stability as the starting quarterback. This could help the rest of the offense, especially tight end Zach Miller who has been one of the brighter fantasy stars on this team the last few years.
