Dallas Cowboys Coach Jason Garrett Won’t Right the Ship

The Dallas Cowboys, a team that began the season with championship aspirations, have had as disappointing a season as any team in recent memory.  Their 1-7 record, injured quarterback, and general ineptitude on defense have cost Wade Phillips his job and Jason Garrett has taken over the head coaching duties.
This team has basically quit in the last few games.  They are our of playoff contention and have been crushed in their last three outings (the score of the Giants game is deceiving).
Interim coach Jason Garrett won't be able to right the ship.

Lack of Leadership
Part of the problem for the Cowboys over the last couple of years has been the lack of leadership in the locker room.  The team's implosion two years ago demonstrated not only Wade's lack of control of the team, but was indicative of a general lack of team cohesion.
