Dallas Cowboys Jump All Over Detroit Lions, Improve To 3-7

Don’t look now, but the Dallas Cowboys are on their first winning streak of the season. After easily beating the Detroit Lions yesterday, the Cowboys are now 3-7.
While Jon Kitna is no Tony Romo, he has been playing lights out over the past couple of weeks. He only threw for 147 yards yesterday, but also threw three touchdown passes and set a franchise record for the longest QB scramble for a touchdown (29 yards).
Imagine all of this from a 38-year-old who hasn’t played meaningful football in two years.
The Cowboys had a decent day running the ball against the Lions, with Felix Jones being the leading rusher with 51 yards on 11 carries (4.6 yards per carry). With the Cowboys defense playing well, their offense wasn’t required to do much (even though they did). Miles Austin grabbed two touchdown passes while rookie sensation Dez Bryant grabbed another.
On special teams, rookie Bryan McCann once again made a name for himself.
