Dallas Cowboys: The Wrong Man Got Fired Monday

Now, I'm not going to sit here and try and defend Wade Phillips. As the son of a Buffalo Bills fan, I have already witnessed on numerous occasions his ineptitude at winning a postseason game, but yes, he was the wrong man fired yesterday.
Mainly because he should have been fired weeks ago, but still, one man should have been fired yesterday.
That man is the general manager Jerry Jones.
Yes I know he's the owner and sadly you can't fire the owner, but Jerry needs to realize he's the problem and not the solution.
"There was a lot of me in denial... But at this time, what's in the best interest of the organization and the fans is a coaching change," said Jones yesterday at his press conference.
He was in denial about the whole thing?
That's exactly why he needs a real general manager, someone who can objectively look at the team and say, "You're out of here," whether that's to a coach or a player.
