Darrelle Revis Not Expected To Sign With Jets By Start of Regular Season

I thought the Jets would be smart and realize that it's best to end this problem before Hard Knocks premieres on Wednesday. I thought they would realize that enough is enough with these games and that the negotiations need to end now. I thought too highly of MikeTannenbaum. I thought too highly of Woody Johnson. And guess what? I thought wrong...
News came out today that both Woody Johnson and Mike Tannenbaum are extremely discouraged with the progress they've had so far. Quite frankly, they admitted they have made just about zero progress and are nowhere near getting a deal done. And they don't expect anything to get any deals done before they open the season at home on Monday Night Football against the Ravens.
