Darrelle Revis’ Recent $1M Bonus Shows Jets Need to Make Swift Decision on CB

Despite reportedly remaining on the trade market, star cornerback Darrelle Revis is still getting paid by the Jets—earning a $1 million roster bonus (per NFL.com).
Kareem Copeland reports that the All-Pro cornerback's $1 million roster bonus kicked in at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, and that with the Jets having not made a decision regarding his future yet, that money will remain with Revis in 2013—regardless of whether he signs with the franchise or not.
And whilst assessing your options when contemplating trading away your best player is the right thing to do, the Jets need to make an official decision regarding his future. They need to decide if they're going to trade him or not, and then they need to act swiftly upon that decision.
Waiting around for the perfect offer (if that's what they're doing) isn't going to help the situation. With Revis needing to get paid, there is an urgency to this "trade" that is seemingly being ignored by the New York franchise...
