Darrelle Revis Rumor: One Insider Says Revis Is Ready To Quit on the Jets

Is the Darrelle Revis era coming to an end with the New York Jets? One insider believes so.
According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, if Revis doesn't get his demands reached soon, he may never be a Jet ever again.
"If the Jets can’t bridge the gap between what they are offering Revis and what he believes they promised him at the end of last season, he’s not showing up, period. As in ever again."
This case is pretty interesting from the media perspective. A week ago, all signs pointed to the Jets bringing in Revis within the week.
From Tim Cowlishaw's prediction, to the continuation of Hark Knocks, journalists everywhere still expect Revis to sign for Week 1.
However, it may not be as big of a guarantee as we thought.
About a month ago, the Jets and Revis were about $30-$40 million apart. I would imagine the gap has been closed somewhat, but many are convinced that this situation can get even worse if Revis doesn't get the money he wants.
