Darrelle Revis Seeking To Make $20 Million A Year, According To Report

Darrelle Revis, one of a handful of young Jets who are in line for a pay raise sometime soon, has asked the team for a contract extension that will net $20 million a year, according to a report on the Nationalfootballpost.com
Only three players last season—Giants quarterback Eli Manning, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers and Bears quarterback Jay Cutler—took in salaries in excess of $20 million last season.
The highest paid cornerback in the NFL last season, Dunta Robinson, formerly of Houston Texans, earned $9.957 million. The best shut down corner should be paid a hefty price.
