Darrelle Revis Signs Deal With New York Jets: A Look Inside The Numbers

During today's press conference to officially announce the New York Jets' signing of Darrelle Revis, head coach Rex Ryan had this to say about the return of his All-Pro cornerback,
"I think the great thing about it is that all Darrelle wanted to do was play."
Except when he didn't want to...for almost a month.
It's amazing how a four-year, $46 million contract will get a man to change his mind.
The good news?  The New York Jets and their fans have their All-Pro shutdown cornerback back in the fold.
The bad news?
Brian Jackson was released and is currently seeking employment.
So maybe there really isn't any bad news for Jets' fans.
With that said, let's put the Darrelle Revis deal into further perspective.
