Darren Sproles, Eagles Agree on New Contract: Latest Details, Reaction

The Philadelphia Eagles and running back Darren Sproles came to terms on a one-year contract extension Friday that will keep him with the team through the 2017 season.
The organization made the announcement via Twitter and provided the following look at the 33-year-old's career highlights with the organization:
The Eagles also tweeted a photo and comment from Sproles as he signed the new deal:
Sproles is penciled in as Philly's No. 2 running back behind Ryan Mathews and as the team's primary punt returner.
The 33-year-old is set to enter his third season with the Eagles. He has made the Pro Bowl in each of the past two campaigns as a return man, with two punt-return touchdowns in consecutive seasons.
He rushed for 317 yards on just 3.8 yards per carry in 2015, but he also made 55 receptions for 388 yards and scored four total touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball.
