DeAndre Levy Injury: Updates on Lions LB’s Quad and Return

Coming off an injury-plagued 2015 season, Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy is back on the shelf with an injured quad.

Levy's Timeline for Return Remains Unknown Monday, Sept. 19 Head coach Jim Caldwell declined to comment on whether Levy could miss the rest of the season with his quad injury, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Per Birkett, the 29-year-old played every defensive snap for the Lions in their Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts, but he didn't practice this past week and was inactive for Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans.
Levy's 2015 season ended almost as soon as it began. He battled a hip injury that forced him to miss the first four games but was able to return in Week 5 against Arizona. 
Unfortunately, Levy reinjured the hip against the Cardinals and had to undergo surgery that landed him on injured reserve.
