Dear Brian Westbrook, the Time Has Come To Leave the Philadelphia Eagles

Whether you love him or you hate him, you cannot help but admire what running back Brian Westbrook has accomplished in his storied career with the Philadelphia Eagles. With his speedy legs, strong arms and ability like no other to move the pile to score a touchdown, sadly Westbrook's best days have come about as close as they can to an end in Philadelphia.
Much like Brett Favre, Westbrook is having trouble deciding whether or not he should return to the game he loves so dearly or whether he should walk away on top and leave his legacy in green and white.  Either way you look at it, things don't seem too positive for Brian Westbrook.
The trouble is, the league is no longer interested in veteran running backs.  Unless your name is Frank Gore or Adrian Peterson, teams aren't willing to fork out the massive salaries to acquire once big-name guys and unfortunately for Brian, he fits into that category.
