Defending Vincent Jackson:The Chargers’ Anti- Diva

Okay, so he likes his music loud, and he likes a beer here and there. So do I. So do 90 percent of his fans. He's a professional football player who never asked to be a role model. He is not a lead opera singer held to high social standards .
Which reminds me, the dictionary's definition of the word 'diva':
Diva: noun; A highly distinguished female lead singer; prima donna.
This term has come to use way more than I like to see any one noun used in describing a person. From singers, actresses, athletes, even people with no other title, like Paris Hilton.
Most recently, NFL players at the wide receiver position are being referred to as Divas. A lot them relish the opportunity. We've all seen the emotional outbursts, lucrative contracts, reality television shows, shameless self-promotions, feuds with the quarterbacks, coaches, and teammates; the list goes on and on.
By mold, Vincent Jackson should be primed for this position. At 27, 6'5'' and 230 lbs of highlight...
