Denver Broncos 2010 NFL Draft: 5 Positions the Broncos Must Upgrade

Mcdaniel's has done a great job of bringing in veterans to fill depth gaps since he arrived in Denver. Though it will take a few drafts to get the players exactly for his system, Mcdaniels has done a good job of trying to keep the Broncos competitive now. The Quinn trade brought in a player just as talented as Pike or Lefevour but at a lower round draft pick and not having to lose one of this year'spicks. Very smart move to bring in a back-up who has tremendous upside and is still young. Chris Simms was a huge bust last season in relief of Orton. Jarvis Green, Jamal Williams, and Justin Bannan will most likely man the 3 D-line spots. Only way I see around that is if the Broncos select a natural 3-4 RE early or decide to stick with Mcbean/Thomas at RE and use Bannan as the back-up NT. Either way, good job by the Broncos to upgrade their D-line without having to use draft choices.
