For a team that has lost so many due to injury, the Denver Broncos starters simply outplayed the Bengals first team. From the beginning drive to the whistle sounding the end of the first quarter, Denver dominated.
The offensive line that featured two rookies held their own against last years 5th rated defense. First year players Zane Beadles and J.D. Walton didn't have their names called at all. I don't think you will hear them or their coaching staff complaining. No penalties, no sacks allowed. Just what the broncos were wanting to see going into this years pre-season.
At a time where play is usually sloppy and mistakes are made, the Broncos first unit made very little. They Struck on their first play from scrimmage with a long pass from Orton to Jabar Gaffney  which led to a touchdown strike ...
