Denver Broncos: Early Awards for 2012

The Denver Broncos are 2-3 through five games.
The Broncos have had a brutal slate to start off the season, being matched up against the likes of the Steelers, Falcons, Texans, Raiders and Patriots. All five of those teams finished with at least a .500 record in 2011, and four of those teams made the playoffs.
The Broncos have had their ups and downs as a team, and so have the individual players.
For example, Peyton Manning had a remarkable debut as a Bronco. Manning went 19-26 for 253 yards, two touchdowns and no turnovers vs. the Steelers.
The following week against the Falcons, however, was perhaps Manning's worst start in his NFL career. Manning threw three interceptions on his first three drives in the first quarter.
Demaryius Thomas has emerged as Manning's big play threat, racking up 30 receptions for 513 yards and two touchdowns through five games. He has had two somewhat costly fumbles in the past two weeks vs. the Raiders and Patriots, however.
