Denver Broncos Want To Host a Super Bowl: Could Invesco Be Next?

Mike Klis at the Denver Post was the first to report that the Broncos have an interest in hosting a Super Bowl.
That of course has become the new speculation following the Concrete Jungle's Super Bowl splash.
So go ahead and add Denver to the growing number of cities that are hoping to reap some rewards off of New York's recent winning bid for 2014.
However, if the Broncos were to land a gig, it would be a long ways out from now.
Pat Bowlen's office went ahead and endorsed the concept as an interesting idea; it certainly would be a great thing for the city of Denver and Invesco Field would make for a very unique Super Bowl location.
There are some things seriously hindering this dreamlike sequence from actually taking place.
First of all, it seems that the ignored weather rule was discarded for New York and one season only, so the Broncos would need to press for a more permanent change to the average temperature restrictions on Super Bowl host cities.
