Detroit Lions: Just Not Quite There Yet

I liked what I was seeing in the Lions' game against the Patriots today.
But you can see what separates the men from the boys in the NFL.
Sure, the Lions looked good in the first half, getting good hits on Tom Brady, moving the ball very well and outplaying the Patriots.
It has become apparent that the Detroit Lions are a really good first half team and a mediocre second half team.
One question I have in regard to coaching decisions: Why the heck was Alphonso Smith still in the game after getting run over and burned twice, all for scores?
I will admit one thing. This was the first time in many Turkey Days that I didn't turn off the TV in the first half and start getting ready to head off to Thanksgiving dinner with friends.
I had hoped in the first half to send a mail item to Greg Eno...we had some discussion about how much more improved the Lions are. He said in an article that the proof he needs is to win on the road and/or beat a quality team, then come...
