Detroit Lions Nation: Reflecting on Futility, Signs of a New Hope

Detroit Lions fans have gotten very used to seeing new head coaches come and go over the years. In fact, over the last decade the Lions have had six different coaches lead the Honolulu Blue, five of whom were hired by former general manager Matt Millen.
After enduring many painful seasons, including 2008's infamous 0-16 campaign, Lions fans have been through more than any other franchise, in any other sport.
With glimpses of hope once again on the horizon, let's take a look back at the journey fans have endured in the last decade.
Bobby Ross : 1997-2000
Bobby Ross was with the Lions from 1997, until the middle of the 2000 season. While he maintains to this day that his reason for leaving was because of blood clots in his legs, Lions fans remember something different.
