Detroit Lions Need Veterans To Step Up in 2010

Bear with me guys, it's June and we're running out of story lines.
I know people are getting tired of repetitive articles, and I'm doing my best to stay away from that writing style.
The truth is that at this point in time, we do not know which 53 players will make up the Lions' opening day roster. A lot of things will change between now and when Detroit travels to Chicago to take on the Bears in Week One.
We could talk about how the rookies and younger players need to step up this year, which is very true. But the Lions season depends on the veterans equally as much as it does the younger players.
It's no secret that Kyle Vanden Bosch (31, entering his 10th NFL season) Nate Burleson (28, entering his eighth NFL season), and Corey Williams (30, entering his seventh NFL season) were all brought in to be solid leaders in the locker room as well as productive players on the field.
