Detroit Lions: Only Ndamukong Suh and Jahvid Best Remain Unsigned

The Detroit Lions officially start training camp on July 30. That leaves roughly 29 days for Lions GM Martin Mayhew and team President Tom Lewand to negotiate contracts with all remaining unsigned rookies.
In the recent weeks, the Lions have managed to sign cornerback Amari Spievey, tackle Jason Fox, defensive end Willie Young Jr., and wide receiver Tim Toone. All of whom were drafted by the Lions in this year's NFL draft.
While there are still a handful of undrafted free agents unsigned, the only two players still unsigned that were actually drafted by Detroit are both first round picks — Ndamuking Suh and Jahvid Best.
Suh, who was the second overall selection in the 2010 NFL draft, will no doubt get a huge contract.
The Lions have been very good about giving their players fair deals and getting them into camp as soon as possible. They understand they will have to give Ndamukong a lot of money and they have made it known they want him in camp on time. Li...
