Devon Still’s Daughter Leah Encounters Complication from Stem Cell Transplant

Leah Still, the daughter of Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still, encountered a recent complication from stem cell treatment.
The Bengals defender shared the news via his Instagram account:
WLWT.com noted that Leah, 5, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, which is a rare form of pediatric cancer. The Stills learned that her cancer was in remission in March, but she still required this stem cell treatment that was expected to last four to six weeks, beginning in early May.
The one silver lining that Still mentioned in his Instagram post was the fact that doctors apparently caught the complication early. The overall goal of the treatment “is to stimulate new bone marrow growth for Leah and reduce the possibility of a relapse,” per WLWT.com.
