Dilemma Be Gone! A Way To Work Around the NFL’s 18-Game Problem

It's already hard enough waiting a whole week to see your team play again. But having to wait a whole six months before you see any football action again?
Most other sports in the United States are played far more frequently than the NFL. While the MLB and the NHL have their regular seasons about as long as the NFL's, they still play two or three, or even five or six, times weekly.
The best the NFL can do is simply enhance the way the game is played. Having to wait six months is part of what makes football so great. If we got to watch football for eight or nine months, we wouldn't be so desperate to watch our teams play again.
The NFL is currently debating whether to enhance the season by taking away two preseason games and replacing them with two regular season games.
Roger Goodell has been a stiff proponent of this idea. And most fans are too.
