Donald Penn’s Trade Demand: Detroit Lions Make the Call

While Donald Penn is the starting LT for the Tampa Bay Bucs, he has had a weight issue in the past and that issue was a problem last year and also makes the Bucs hesitant to do a long term deal with the player.
This is where the Lions jump in. Penn was tagged with a first and third round tender, essentially making it impossible for any team to sign Penn, but if he were to sign the tender, a trade is more likely to occur.
A potential deal that could happen is that Detroit parts with there fifth round selection in next year's draft and swaps second or third rounders with the Bucs, while also giving a player like Cliff Avril in the deal.
So in turn it look something like this.
Tampa sends Donald Penn, the 35th or 67th selection in the draft and Detroit Sends Cliff Avril and the 34th or 66th selection along with a conditional fifth(that could escalate to fourth) round pick, based on Penn's production on the team.
