Donovan McNabb Trade Fallout: Why the Rams Could Pass on Sam Bradford

With one of the most fascinating, unpredictable offseasons in the history of the NFL still in full swing, it's worth debating whether or not the St. Louis Rams might pass up Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford in the draft.
The Rams released veteran quarterback Marc Bulger on Monday, clearing the way for an addition to the roster, but is it Bradford they were clearing the way for?
There's no deal in place for Bradford in the No. 1 slot, and you'd better believe Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell was on the phone with his agent two minutes after the Donovan McNabb trade, looking for his ticket out of town.
There's a lot of pressure on St. Louis to "get it right" with the first pick, and there is a very vocal group advocating the choice of Ndamukong Suh.
Acquiring Campbell would allow the Rams to use that pick for Suh and still fill that vacancy created by Bulger's dismissal.
