Doug Whaley Contract: Latest News, Rumors, Speculation on Bills GM’s Future

Whaley's Future with Bills Reportedly is Secure Sunday, Dec. 27 However, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported on Sunday that "Whaley is on very solid ground" and that there is a "better chance he gets an extension than fired."
Rapoport added:
The Bills have gone 21-25 in Whaley's three seasons as general manager. Whaley has one year left on his contract after this season.
Rapoport's report contradicts a story from Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports last Sunday. In that report, La Canfora noted that Whaley has clashed with the coaching staff, would favor firing offensive coordinator Greg Roman and would like to see the team get young wideout Sammy Watkins more involved in the offense.
