Eddie Lacy Injury: Updates on Packers Star’s Ankle and Return

Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy is suffering from an ankle injury, per Jason Wilde of ESPN.com.

Lacy Misses Evening Practice Thursday Thursday, Aug. 4 Wilde posted a photo of Lacy standing off to the side while his teammates practiced:
After a disappointing 2015 season, Lacy enters the 2016 campaign with high expectations, as he dropped between 15 and 18 pounds in the offseason on the heels of head coach Mike McCarthy questioning his shape, according to ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky.
Lacy registered 758 rushing yards on 187 carries and five total touchdowns in 2015, and in addition to his weight issues, injuries likely played a role.
Along with a banged-up ankle limiting his effectiveness early in the season, Lacy suffered a groin injury in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.
