Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron was carted off the field after suffering an ankle injury during practice Saturday. It is unclear when he will be able to return to the field.

Latest on Ebron's Diagnosis Monday, Aug. 8 Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reported Ebron suffered an injury to his ankle, not his Achilles as was originally feared.
Latest on Ebron's Practice Status Monday, Aug. 8 MLive.com's Kyle Meinke noted that "Ebron missed practice [Monday] morning, but did attend it without a cast, walking boot, etc. Slight limp, but that's it. That's great news."

Ebron Carted off Field Saturday, Aug. 6 Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Ebron suffered an Achilles injury, but noted the tight end has informed multiple teammates that is "OK."
Per Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official website, Ebron was unable to put pressure on his right leg and was carted off the field.
