Fantasy Football: DeAngelo Williams and the Perfect Storm

Fantasy football has a way of pitting us in a constant struggle.  Do I root for my team even though my fantasy stud is going up against him? Does that make me a terrible person and a horrible fan?
It is for that very reason that fantasy football has forever tarnished fans' loyalty to their teams. I found myself in a similar situation back in 2008.
I was reaping the benefits of a stacked roster which included breakout stars like DeAngelo Williams and Michael Turner. Both had incredible 2008 campaigns, finishing No. 1 and No. 2 respectively in fantasy land.
Week 16 is championship week for most fantasy footballers and is also a pivotal week in the NFL as well. The Panthers, somehow, were putting together a ridiculous season, finishing 12-4, and were in a heated battle with my New York Giants.
