Fantasy Football: Should You Write off Knowshon Moreno?

Knowshon Moreno looked like the real deal coming into the league in 2009 out of Georgia. He had a nice size-speed combo and some solid hands. Oh, how things have changed for Moreno.
He has dealt with injuries that cost him three games in 2010 and nine games last year. Coming off a torn ACL makes 2012 a challenge out of the gate.
For starters, he lost his starting gig to Willis McGahee. While Willis turns 31 in October, he has had three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens where he received 170 or fewer carries.
Returning to a starting role, he ran for 1,199 yards despite a lack of a viable passing game. As long as Peyton Manning stays healthy, that shouldn’t be the case this year.
That, however, could work against McGahee. He is not as effective at catching the ball out of the backfield. That’s where Moreno could come into play.
