Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Advice: Get ’em or Don’t Sweat ’em – Week 2

There were some unusual heroes on Sunday. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.

QBs

Josh Freeman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers:  Freeman only completed half of his 24 passes, but had 178 yards and two TDs. He added 43 on the ground. He isn’t a fantasy starter, but he’s rock solid in two QB leagues and a decent QB2.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.


Kerry Collins, Tennessee Titans:  Collins replaced Vince Young and threw for 149 yards with a TD and a pick. VY will likely get the start next week.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.


Shaun Hill, Detroit Lions:  Hill picked apart the Eagles to the tune of 335 yards with two TDs and two INTs. He showed he’s worthwhile in two QB leagues while Stafford is on the mend.
Ruling:  Get ‘em (two QB leagues), Don’t Sweat ‘em (Standard leagues)
