Fantasy Football Week 1 Projections: Darren McFadden Will Run Over Denver

When the dust settles at the end of first week of the NFL regular season, don't be surprised if you see Oakland running back Darren McFadden at the top of the stat sheet for rushing yards.
McFadden entered the league in 2008 when he was drafted fourth overall by the Oakland Raiders. For his first two seasons, he failed to surpass the 500 yard mark.
Last season, playing only 13 games, he accumulated 1157 yards rushing.
Now, his sights are set on the 2011 season and expectations are higher than ever. Many experts believe that this is finally going to be the season where McFadden breaks onto the scene.
It will all begin on the late game of the two Monday Night Football matchups. The Raiders travel to Denver to take on the Broncos for their season opener.
The Broncos were one of the worst teams last year when it came to stopping the run. In fact, only the Buffalo Bills allowed more rushing yards per game.
