Fantasy Football Week 7: Daily Haze’s Early Waiver Wire Thoughts

Decent amount of talent likely on your waiver wire this week. Several relatively unowned players had good fantasy days in Week 6, including a few breakthrough fantasy football performances.
 
QB
Matt Cassel, Chiefs (201-3)
Dwayne Bowe came alive for Cassel on Sunday. That is good news for this passing offense, which has three legitimate weapons in Bowe, Jamaal Charles and Tony Moeaki.
 
RBs
Danny Woodhead, Patriots (11-63; 5-52)
Fantasy owners, meet the new Kevin Faulk...only better. How do the Patriots keep finding versatile talent like this?
Chris Ivory, Saints (15-158; 1-17)
It took a few weeks, but Ivory finally showed that his preseason was no fluke. Kid has talent.
 
WRs
Deion Branch, Patriots (9- 98-1)
So much for Branch taking time to learn the new Pats offense. Seems like he picked up right where he left off.
Jason Avant, Eagles (5-62)
Looks like DeSean Jackson could be out a while, meani...
