It can be very easy to get caught up in someone's name in fantasy. If they've done it the past, they can do it in the future. 
That kind of thinking can kill you in fantasy. That's why we're here to provide you with five star players that you simply need to keep on the bench this week. 
 
Eli Manning, QB, Giants
Despite the big time numbers, Eli Manning only put up 12 fantasy points in his first matchup against Dallas. Dallas also has the 3rd-best pass defense, giving up only 187.3 yards through the air per game. The Cowboys have also given up the seventh-least fantasy points to QB this season.
Manning is usually a must-start, but not this week against the Cowboys.
 
Steve Smith, WR, Panthers
The Panthers are having a bad season, and so is Steve Smith. Smith has no touchdowns so far. Shocking, but that's the truth. Chicago held down Calvin Johnson last week, limiting him to only 34 yards.
