Fantasy Implications of a Possible Donovan McNabb Trade To St. Louis

If there was such a thing as a fantasy football seismograph, scientists would have felt a tremor tonight in Philadelphia.
It has not happened yet—that we know of, anyway—but there have been several reports that the Rams have an offer on the table for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb.
Rumors are not always enough to register on the fantasy Richter scale, but a rumor of this magnitude is enough to shake things up a bit. There may be something about to happen on the trade market.
The most popular offer circulating around the Web has McNabb going to St. Louis for safety Oshiomogho Atogwe and the No. 33 pick in this year’s NFL Draft. Not a bad haul for either team.
In that scenario, the Rams would keep the No. 1 overall selection in the NFL Draft and would either (A) take Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh or (B) trade the pick to a team that wants Suh. Either way, they likely add a top player in the first round somewhere.
