Free Agent Kicker Jay Feely Signs With Arizona Cardinals

Free agent kicker Jay Feely and the Arizona Cardinals have agreed to terms on a contract. The terms of the deal have yet to be released. Feely spent the past two seasons with the Jets, and for the most part, was a reliable kicker. Feely was 30 for 36 on field goal attempts last season, but missed two kicks in the AFC Championship Game against Indianapolis. The front runner to take over the kicking duties for the Jets next season is ex-Cowboy Nick Folk, who was signed last month.
Remember, the details of Jay Feely’s contract are important. Since the Jets lost Jay Feely to free agency and he was signed to another team, the Jets can now sign an unrestricted free agent. The free agent must have a contract in similar value to the one Feely signed.
