Free Agents Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders Should Consider

Now that Donovan McNabb is off the market, the rumor mill surrounding the Oakland Raiders has changed direction, but has picked up steam. Albert Haynesworth, Jason Campbell, Troy Smith, and Flozell Adams are just some of the names that are being thrown around as possible acquisitions of the Raiders. I am just as guilty of perpetuating this speculation as anyone else. There is no doubt that each of these men could help the Raiders, but is it realistic to suggest that they would actually wind up in Oakland? Should Al Davis even consider any of them? Of course he should. He can't leave any stone unturned in the hunt to improve the team. However, two of these names will be in this list; the other two will not.
