Giants vs Jets: NYG Primed to Take NFC East After Ugly Week 16 Win

The New York Giants defeated their crosstown rivals in their Week 16 matchup and put themselves in prime playoff position.
With a hideous 29-14 win over the Jets, the Giants improved to 8-7 and set up a high-stakes showdown with the Cowboys next week. The winner of that game will claim the NFC East title and a spot in the playoffs.
New York didn't look particularly good versus the Gang Green, but they got the W, and that's all that matters.
Eli Manning struggled against the Jets' elite secondary, completing just nine of his 27 passes. He still managed to rack up 225 yards though, thanks to a 99-yard touchdown pass to Victor Cruz.
Ahmad Bradshaw was dominant at times, carrying the ball 15 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns. He set the tone in the second half when he unleashed a violent 14-yard run, plowing over Jets defenders on his way to the end zone.
The Giants defense also played pretty well, capitalizing on multiple Mark Sanchez errors. The young quarter...
