Hey, Philadelphia Eagles Fans, Mike Vick’s Stats Mean Nothing At This Point

The Birds recently dropped a tough one to the Packers, as I'm sure every Eagles fan knows.
All in all, it was a great game. The Eagles dug themselves into a hole early, but when QB Kevin Kolb was injured (Kolb sustained a concussion) and had to leave the game, Michael Vick stepped in to try and make something happen.
And boy, did he ever.
Vick picked up 175 yards and a TD trough the air while also scrambling for 103 yards and a TD as the Eagles lost 27-20. Vick looked a lot less like the second-string QB for the Eagles, and a lot more like the ex-Falcon QB who was arguably the most explosive player in the league.
It was a good performance, to say the least.
But at the most, it just gave the Eagles more confidence in having him as their backup.
Because Kevin Kolb is still the starter.
The only way that changes is if Kolb fails the NFL concussion test, in which case he will be out for two games. Even so, Kolb will return as the starter (though if he can...
